SetMeals (Firefly Media Group) sends operational meal-coordination text messages to the crews of film and television productions that use our service. This page explains what we send, how you consent to receive messages, and how to opt out.
What we send
When your production schedules a crew meal, SetMeals sends you transactional, operational text messages:
- A meal-call announcement with a personal link to view the menu and place your order.
- Order reminders before the order cutoff time.
- An order confirmation.
- A “meals have arrived” pickup notification.
- A post-meal rating request.
These are operational messages only. We do not send marketing or promotional content through this program.
How you opt in (consent)
Crew members are added to a production’s meal roster during crew onboarding. When your mobile number is collected, you provide it and agree to receive SetMeals meal-coordination texts for that production. The consent disclosure presented to you is:
“By providing your mobile number, you agree to receive recurring meal-coordination text messages from SetMeals — meal-call announcements with your ordering link, reminders, order confirmations, and pickup notifications. Message frequency varies by production schedule. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy and Terms.”
Consent to receive texts is never a condition of employment, is not purchased, and is never shared. We do not share mobile opt-in data or consent with third parties for marketing — see our Privacy Policy.
Message frequency
Message frequency is recurring and varies by your production’s schedule — typically one to four messages per crew member per shoot day.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. SetMeals does not charge you for messages.
Opt out and help
- Opt out: reply STOP (or UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to any SetMeals message. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages unless you opt back in.
- Help: reply HELP to any message, or email hello@setmeals.app.
